1. Is my date available?

At this time we are unable to take any more bookings for these dates:

June 2, 2012

 2. How much are your cakes?

All of our cakes are priced individually based on the number of servings and by the complexity of their design.

These are our basic STARTING PRICES without tax……
Wedding Cake: Fondant OR Buttercream from $4.50 per serving
Groom’s Cake  from $3.00 per serving
3D Carved Cake from $5.00 per serving (Minimum Servings 40)
2D Carved Cakes from $125.00 (Minimum Servings 15)
Sheet Cakes Start at $50.00
**ANY tiered or stacked cake starts at $5.00 Per serving**  including birthday cakes!!
**Topsy Turvey Cakes Start at $7.50 Per Serving**

 

3. How do I order a cake?

Just click on our contact page or call us at 615-459-9305…ALL orders must be placed and paid for AT LEAST TWO WEEKS prior to your event date (weekends fill up fast- order as soon as possible)!!!!

Please provide us with the following information:
  • Date of Event
  • Nature / Occasion of Event
  • Location of Event (Address and Time) for delivery
  • How Many Guests will be Attending your Event
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Phone Number
  • All Design Ideas
  • Budget for Event

 

4. What is your payment policy?

 

ALL Cakes MUST be paid for two weeks in advance!!
ALL Wedding Cakes require NON-Refundable a $100 Hold the Day Retainer to hold your event date.
ALL Weddings or Catered Events Require a NON-Refundable $500 retainer to book your Wedding or Catered   Event (or 50% for Events under $500)
ALL Cakes, Weddings or Catered Events are to be paid in full TWO WEEKS in advance. Orders will not be delivered if we have not received payment.
Payments can be made by cash, check, debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American   Express) and mailed to 117 Spring Circle, Smyrna, Tennessee 37167.

 

5. Do you deliver?

 

Yes, we deliver: Prices depend on distance, time, and ease of delivery! All deliveries start at $50. We  offer free delivery to Murfreesboro, Smyrna, or LaVergne for cakes over $250.00

 

6. Do you ship your cakes?

 

Sorry, but at this time we DO NOT ship our cakes.

 

7. When was your last health inspection and what was your score.

 

Our last health inspection was on March 15, 2012 and our score was a 93.

 

8. Do you rent any plateaus, stands, or equipment?

 

Yes, we have an impressive selection of cake stands, plateaus, and other equipment that is sure to fill almost any cake/catering need. However, we only rent our equipment when our services are used. Need something we don’t offer? We are also able to coordinate other rentals, such as china, linens, tents, tables and chairs with our rental company as needed for each event.

 

9. When catering my event how will the food/buffet table be decorated?

 

At Jo’s we pride ourselves not only on the taste of our food but its presentation as well. When deciding on decor for each event we ALWAYS consider the colors of the wedding, location, and theme. We are also happy to incorporate any request given to us by the host or hostess of the event. Our table and food presentation is always sure to please.

 

10.  Are you licensed and insured?

 

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. All documentation is available upon request.

 

11. Will you provide food for the photographer, videographer, musicians, coordinators, and any other “day-of” vendors? If so, is there an extra charge?

 

We will be happy to accommodate any and all guests that you wish. However, we do not bring “extra” for the vendors. We ask that when preparing your final counts you include any and all “day-of” vendors that you wish to feed. A full list of vendors is required, and vendor meals are 50% off.

 

12. Do you offer tastings? If so, are they free?

 

Yes, we do offer tastings and cake tastings are free. All tastings require an appointment, and are normally done on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. If this doesn’t work for you we are happy to try and accommodate schedules. However we ask that no more than 4 people attend the tasting, and that you bring any and all ideas, color swatches, and/or pictures with you ready to be presented. We use the tasting time to also design your cake, and this is made much easier when we are all prepared. Tastings usually last about 60 to 90 minutes.
