Pricing Guidelines and Policies

Various factors contribute to the cost of your menu, including the type of food and presentation you desire, your guest count, the venue you have chosen, and the season. A specific quote cannot be determined until after your consultation, but following are some guidelines on service and pricing. Rest assured that we will work with you to create the event you've always dreamed of without breaking the bank.

Menu Price Guidelines:

Traditional Buffets:           1 Entrée      from  $14.50 per person

                                         2 Entrees         from  $19.95 per person

Service Guidelines:

  Providing excellent service to you and your guests is of utmost importance to us. Although we cannot supply alcoholic beverages, we can staff your event with certified bartenders. In order to best serve your needs, we ask that you adhere to the following service guidelines:

                                          Buffet Service:                       1 Server for each 25 guests

                                          Buffet Service with China     1 Server for each 20 guests

                                          Plated Dinner                         1 Server for each 15 guests

                                          Full Bar                                  1 Bartender for each 50 guests

                                         Servers:                                  $25.00 per hour per server, 4 hour minimum

                                         Bartenders:                              from $35.00 per hour, 4 hour minimum

                                         Chef Service:                          $40 per hour/per chef

                                        *Staff has a 4 hour minimum each, additional time is billed at same hourly rate.

                                        *Staff gratuity is at client discretion.

Administration Fee:               15-18% on all food, beverages, and services*

What this is: We do not charge you for every piece of equipment we use such as chafing dishes and fuel, serving utensils, props, … We do not charge you for time used to secure products, write proposals,  and other administrative costs, which can be very time consuming.  Instead we charge a flat 15- 18% of the total invoice to cover these costs. This is not a gratuity. 15% for parties over $7500, before tax. 18% for parties less than $7500, before tax.

Sales Tax:                                                                9.75% Applies to the entire bill (except staff)

Final prices are determined by menu, guest count, style of service & location walk-through.

POLICIES

  •   A non-refundable retainer secures your date, and will be deducted from your balance due. We require a $500.00 retainer for catered events, $100 for wedding cakes only.
  •    During the months of May through September there is a 100 person minimum guest count required for Saturday events. Exceptions may be made in rare instances.
  •   Your quoted price per person is based on the menu you select and your minimum guest count. It does not include hall rental. Unless otherwise arranged, for the price quoted:

                       We will be responsible for:

                       Food preparation, set up and maintenance of the buffet,   

                        coffee and iced tea service during the meal;

                       Breakdown and clean up of the buffet and kitchen areas.

                       What you are responsible for:

                       Decoration and clean up of your rented facility, unless our cleanup crew

                       has been retained;  all alcoholic beverage; any trash removal, unless our

                       cleanup crew has been retained.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

  •   Full China, linen, bartender, and wait staff services are available at an additional cost. Servers are $25.00 each per hour, Bartenders start at $35.00 each per hour. Because of the importance of excellent service to your guests, we ask that you adhere to our ratios of 1 Bartender per 50 guests, and 1 server for each15-20 guests, depending on the type of service you are having.

  •   Your estimated total will be based on your estimated guest count, menu selected, any extra services requested, 18% administration  fee, and 9.75% sales tax.

  •   The final bill will be calculated using your actual guest count or guaranteed minimum, whichever is greater.

  •   Due to the possibility of food cost increases, your menu price will not be guaranteed until 6 months prior to your event, but will not be increased more than 10% from the amount quoted in your contract.

  •   Final guest count and payment of the total estimated balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event date. In the case of weddings, the entire bridal party, and any vendors invited to eat must be included in your guest count. Vendor meals will be calculated at 50% off regular prices. If  no guest count is given, the last count reported will be used. If your guest count goes up after you have given us the final count, we will be happy to accommodate you as best we can.Under no circumstances will a wedding or cake be delivered which is NOT paid for in full. 

  •   No refund can be given in the event of last minute cancellation, as food products will have already been purchased.

  •   Health department and Insurance regulations do not permit us to leave any leftover food items.  

  •   Payment of any remaining balance, due to addition or changes, is due at the beginning of your event.

  •   Billing may be arranged in advance for corporate accounts.
